Lead Beneficiary: CI3R

This WP represents an important pillar, as it goes along the entire project and across all WPs. It will keep all the partners and activities together, assuring that the conducted initiatives will be in agreement with the overall objective of the action. As such, it will consist of management and reporting activities that include: (1) coordinate and oversee consistency of project activities; (2) secure the overall administrative and financial management of the project; (3) manage contacts with the Commission; (4) manage the Consortium, keeping the partners working as a whole; (5) monitor quality and timing of project results; (6) establish effective internal and external communication procedures; (7) meet the deadlines and check the agreement between activities and project aims; (8) draw contingency plan and, in case, implement necessary corrective measures.

Lead Beneficiary: ADAI

This WP has the objective to build and organize the activities of the Advisory Group (AG) that shall support and advise the Project Consortium in its activities.

The AG will be composed by a selected group of experts from different countries/institutions (from both EU and international), balancing expertise both on risk science and on decision making in the civil protection field. Moreover, representatives from existing networks already operating within the Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM) or other international platforms (e.g. training networks, end-user networks, RISK-Kan) will be invited.

WP3 has the objective to collect, organize and elaborate on the best practices and knowledge on Disaster Risk Mangement (DRM) and to contribute to its effective dissemination through preparation of periodic bulletins and thematic papers. The WP has also the objective of organise and systematise such knowledge through the development and implementation of a suitable solutions explorer tool and the preparation of a vision paper for DG ECHO.

Lead Beneficiary: UiS

This WP covers the aspects of communication within the project (i.e. between partners and committees) and external dissemination of results, including:

  • the organization and feeding of an informative and up-to-date ROADMAP website;
  • knowledge sharing activities through webinars;
  • the final workshop to launch the vision paper and promote the European observatory on disaster risk and crisis management best practices.
